Today I had the special pleasure of seeing Nopparat Keatkhamtorn face Kem Sitsongpeenong in the finals of the Isuzu 21 8-man tournament. After the morning training session, there was already a huge group of people gathering at the camp to head over to the fights. We must've been rolling 40-50 people strong into Omnoi stadium forming a nice large blue cheering section behind the blue corner. I took some video of the fight introduction as well as the fight with my own camcorder, but then I found the official footage posted online. So without further adieu, Nopparat vs. Kem for the opportunity to fight in Thai Fight 2011 tournament.

Hey Steve, this is Ray C. from Evolve (BJJ Ray). My wife and I are gonna be in Thailand for a couple weeks at the end of the month. We'll be in Bangkok for a couple days, then heading to Phuket and Krabi. We wanted to see some Muay Thai while we are in Bangkok. Which stadium do you recommend that we check out?
Hey Ray, I really liked Omnoi for the atmosphere the two times I've been there, but it is a little out of the way as it isn't connected to public transit. Lumpini and Rajadamnern were both good, but you have to go on specific nights to see the good fights. All three have high calibur fights and lower calibur fights depending on the days. What days will you be in Bangkok and where will you be staying?
We'll be in Bangkok next Saturday and Sunday, I think we are staying at Monaco? I think we're gonna check out rajadamnern, because Saturday is the only day we'll have time to watch fights, and my wife says that she doesn't think there are fights at lumpini on that day. Will we be able to buy tickets right before the fights, or do they sell out in advance?
If you go on saturday, then you should go to Lumpini as they will be having fights not Raja stadium. Fights start at 6pm.
