
After the first few days of staying at the camp, I moved into their alternate accommodations. There is this inn about half a mile down the road that most foreigners staying at the camp end up staying. While all in all, it wasn't a huge change, some of the biggest highlights is the nicer bed, the tv, a fridge, and tables(I was getting quite tired of putting everything on the ground), a lot of extra outlets, and a small water heater in the shower. Though most of my showers are taken at the gym right after practice, where there is no water heater, the cold showers are quite welcome after a 3-4 hour training session. Another big highlight for this place is the lack of mosquitos. Both places have a much needed AC unit, but the neighborhood around the new place seems much more lively with more small food stalls and conveniences within a few steps from the inn.
